Please read this first Spruced gives you AI-generated cleaning guidance, and it can be wrong. It is not professional advice. Always follow the instructions on your cleaning products, test any method on a small hidden area first, and use your own judgment. You use Spruced at your own risk.

1. Agreement

These Terms are between you and KovaBay LLC, doing business as Spoonfuls ("Spoonfuls," "we," "us"). By using the Spruced app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Spruced.

2. What Spruced is

Spruced analyzes a photo of an item and suggests how to clean it, along with optional product and service ideas. The guidance is generated by AI based on an image, so it may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific item.

3. Use it responsibly

Treat every suggestion as a starting point, not an instruction. Test on a small, hidden area before treating a whole item.
Follow the safety directions on any cleaning product you use, and never mix products unless their labels say it's safe.
For valuable, delicate, or antique items, consult a professional. Spruced is not a substitute for one.

4. Your responsibilities

Only submit photos you have the right to submit, and don't upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
Don't misuse the service. For example, no automated, bulk, or high-volume requests, and no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer it.

5. Links and third-party products

Spruced may link to Amazon and other retailers or local services. Spoonfuls is an Amazon Associate and may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. We don't sell those products, don't control those sites, and aren't responsible for them or for anything you buy through them.

6. Ownership

The Spruced app, its design, and its content are owned by KovaBay LLC d/b/a Spoonfuls. The photos you take are yours, and using Spruced doesn't transfer them to us.

7. No warranty

Spruced is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the guidance will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Spoonfuls is not liable for any damage, loss, or injury arising from your use of Spruced or its guidance, including damage to items you clean. You are responsible for how you use the suggestions.

9. Changes

We may update Spruced or these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
